Fall 2025

The temperatures have reached reasonable levels for chocolate shipping throughout the country! We once again are offering shipping nationwide and military APO mailboxes via USPS Priority Mail.

For our customers in the Omaha area, we have local pick up available with our partners at The Mailroom. As always, we appreciate your support and would not be able to do this without your continued patronage, thank you all!

Did you know chocolate is a fermented food?

Not only that, it exclusively grows +/- 20 degrees off the equator, limiting the availability of it to select locales

Cacao Pods

Chocolate comes from theobroma cacao, also known as the cacao or cocoa tree. It begins as football sized cacao pods on those trees. Once they are hand-harvested, farmers cut open the pods to collect the seeds within, placing them in fermentation chambers to cultivate flavor.

Cocoa Beans

After fermentation, farmers spread the beans out on platforms or on the forest ground to allow them to dry before they begin their final journey into our hands for sorting.
